Surgical Co-Management

For individuals considering cataract or refractive surgery who want expert guidance and hassle-free follow-up, Grapevine Vision is the neighborhood optometry practice that pairs you with the right local surgeon and monitors every postoperative milestone close to home—so you can focus on clear, healthy vision with confidence.

What should you expect with our program?

  • Pre-operative work-up at Grapevine Vision – Full dilated eye-health exam, health-history review, and brief discussion of IOL or refractive laser options matched to your lifestyle. Results are communicated so that your initial consultation with your surgeon is catered to your needs.
  • Surgical consultation and surgery day – At the surgeon’s office you’ll undergo additional measurements, including diagnostic imaging. The surgeon will further discuss your candidacy, review your IOL or refractive laser options, discuss details of the surgery, and get you scheduled. Surgery is most often performed at an outpatient surgery center. At Grapevine Vision, we’re on standby for any real-time questions about your measurements or ocular history.
  • Post-operative work-up at Grapevine Vision – Check vision, eye pressure, incision healing, and refractive accuracy; adjust drops; answer all your recovery questions; arrange quick surgeon consults if anything falls outside target ranges. We will see you 1-week & 1-month post-operatively.
